Review of Unbroken (2014) by Jeff C — 06 Aug 2015

I liked this movie, the story is good and the scenery is vivid. the problem is, I read the book. The book tells the story, it's like living it. the movie is like hearing the story from someone who's heard it after it was passed along several times.

comparing it to the book is almost always unfair, it's the job of the movie to cut and condense. the problem I have with the movie is the characters from the book who are so real you get to know them are just part of the scenery in the movie.

this is not a bad movie, but if you enjoyed it, read the book, you will be moved.
