Review of Unbreakable (2000) by Nolan M — 09 May 2015
A truly original comic book film. The most realistic portrayal of what a superhero might actually be like. M Night delivers an understated, moody and extremely QUIET character drama. It's essentially one giant first act centering around the concept of finding one's potential.
Despite M Night's occasionally contrived moment, this is a refreshingly anti-Hollywood, artful, beautifully shot and a thought-provoking film.
