Review of Unbreakable (2000) by Suzanne F — 11 Apr 2012
This story builds up very well. Unfortunately though, when Bruce Willis finally realizes his destiny as a hero it is a bittersweet moment. We've been waiting for this moment throughout the whole movie, only for it to end abruptly thereafter, with little closure as to how the protagonist really feels, or if he has actually accepted his destiny at all.
Shyamalan's film seems curiously unfinished.
