Review of Unbreakable (2000) by Elise C — 19 Apr 2015
I don't like Shymalan's seemingly pretentious writing style. It's a weakness. This film was well...weird. Weird, creepy, and disturbing, but compelling. I can't entirely get behind it because of the writing like I said, but it's a worthy member of the superhero genre taking a more realistic everyday life kind of approach.
Both Bruce Willis and Samuel L. Jackson are amazing in their roles.
