This quiet, overlooked "thriller" might be Shyamalan's most technically outstanding feature but its a intriguing twist on today's most popular subgenre: Comic-Book Superheroes. Some might find the movie too cold & distant for their taste but this nuanced film has a few key moments of riveting emotion to hold up its fascinating premise and impressive filmmaking.
