Review of Unaccompanied Minors (2006) by Courtney T — 17 Jan 2008
Though the title might sound tempting, but after viewing the film, I wish that I hadn't. The film is surely targeted to young kids probably between the age of 7 and 11; pretty sad if you're in your 30s, and still enjoy this type of films.
The story and plot were interesting, but not enough to bring the film back after the production company casted a bunch of kids that probably never took acting classes before. Though there were one or two young actors that were alright, but the other bunch didn't fare too well.
Most probably didn't practice their acting skills until the day before filming. The gags and jokes in the film were so outdated, and the concept has been used to many times in other kids films. Though the idea of a bunch of kids getting stranded at an airport is different, it would had been better if the story and plot were written better so all ages could enjoy them, and hire young actors who could actually act, and trust me, there are many young actors out who could actually act.
Also, there were a few scenes in the film that were just random.
