Review of Un Chien Andalou (1929) by Chris D — 08 Jul 2010
An intentional mess of a film, surrealism to the extreme. Of course the eye scene is a classic and unforgettable, but I felt nothing for the film. It's artwork set to moving pictures, and it was art that I found bizarre and disturbing.
Luckily, most films don't tread this path, and do actually attempt to have some meaning, but I'll give it a pass for some truly original images.
