Review of Ultraviolet (2006) by Matthew E — 28 Aug 2010
The fight scenes are stupidly ridiculous. Dodging bullets, kicking through bullet proof armor, never taking the opportunity to take people by surprise, etc. The characters also behave unreasonably. The flow of the movie is not like real life.
The director really wanted it to have a comic book feel, so the acting is put on hold every so often to create still pictures. Yes they are pretty pictures, but that should not be the focus of a movie.
It gets points for being pretty though.
