This was the last great screwball comedy film of the 80's. Weird Al's only movie and too bad cause this one is hilarious. I haven't laughed so hard in a long time having re-watched this recently as I found a VHS copy at a store downtown.
I always loved Weird Al and his genious musical spoofs and his Much Music guest DJ shows he used to do, so funny! This movie has a lot of famous people before they were famous. The premise is perfect for Al's off beat humour, if you are old enough to remember UHF channels on TV many years ago.
....Conan the Librarian had my stomach hurting with laughter. There are many funny lines and nods to older films, other TV shows and music videos and this is what makes this movie a real treat! I'm so glad Al made this movie! It's a cult classic.
... silly but good.
