Review of UHF (1989) by Robert G — 09 Aug 2008
Absolutely HYSTERICAL!!! Surprisingly, it actually has a plotline. Weird Al plays George Newman, who floats from job to job to job to job because he can't get his overactive imagination to work for him, instead of against him.
He ends up becoming manager of a little out of the way UHF TV station, and ends up turning it around with "unique" programming (as only Weird Al can do), such as "Wheel of Fish", or "Raul's Wild Kingdom", where Raul Hernandez (Trinidad Silva) teaches poodles how to fly.
..by throwing them out a 3rd story window! An absolute riot.
