Review of UHF (1989) by Forrest B — 07 Apr 2009
"Weird" Al Yankovic certainly lives up to the "weird" part of his name. This is one of those movies that's so stupid it's good! Yankovic is down right hilarious here. Michael Richards, I think, stole the show.
Screw "Seinfeld," Richards should have stuck playing characters like Stanley Spadowski. Fran Drescher is very good in her role as well. The plot itself is kind of weak, but where it lacks in plot it makes up for in hilarity.
This is without a doubt a cult classic, and will be remembered forever...at least by Yankovic fans.
