Review of UHF (1989) by Terry T — 29 Mar 2009
If you were ever a seventh grade boy, then you have probably, at some point, considered yourself to be a Weird Al fan. I, personally, have the distinction of remaining a fan years later (and also not becoming particularly more mature than when I was a seventh grade boy).
As a result, this film has a very special place in my memory, and I still find it enjoyable today. It's not particularly smart; it's just a farce. But it's a well-done farce. And it's light-hearted and fun.
What more can you really ask for from a comedy?
