Review of UHF (1989) by Gilbert L — 06 Feb 2008
Dude, Weird Al is awsome in this movie. I mean sure, it's random for the most part, but then again so was Monty Python, and look at how many people love that. Conan The Librarian was probably one of the best parts, aside from Gandhi 2.
Also, while this made many references to popculture from the time period, it gave birth to some new ones in my opinion, like poodle tossing. There is also a scene parodying Rambo which is truely worth watching.
Really worth a look at if you like Michael Richards, Weird Al, or pretty much anything else that has been inspired by Mel Brooks and/or Leslie Neilsen. Truely a hoot-and-a-half.
