Review of Udaan (2010) by Shwet J — 15 Jul 2010
Simply brilliant. All the departments deserve praise for their effort. The casting directors have done well. So have the music directors for their "non distracting" background score, which is kind of rare these days.
The flow of the movie is realistic. The struggles and psychologies of a writer against a "classic" bewda father has been captured, possibly for the first time on indian screen. AK and Motwane deserve a big pat on the back.
And finally the message of the movie is clear, "Fly high goddamnit".
