Review of U2 3D (2008) by Drea C — 28 Feb 2008

Firstly if you don't like U2 stop reading. This new digital 3d technique has mind blowing potential in the hands of a great director. It gives an immense feeling of depth to the image, with lens flare and spotlights streaming out of the image.

In this film the effect is remarkable at placing you in the centre of a U2 concert, and feeling and noticing details that normally go unseen. With the digital abiltity to layer graphics and animation with real depth and clarity the potential is massive.

However this is a U2 concert so avoid if not liked. I think I have witnessed the start of a new era in cinema though, so i'm glad to say I was there!
