I've never seen U2 live, so I've been wanting to see this movie for about a month now. It was fantastic!! The 3D was, as many here have mentioned, really crisp and gimmick-free. The set list was a lot of classic U2 songs, which is perfect for those familiar with their music, but not true fans.
For fans it's a great 80 minutes to spenD with one of the best bands around today. The cinematography was incredible, and at times, breathtaking. Well worth the price of admission.
