Classic Oliver Stone. Fucked up story, filled with fucked up people in a fucked up place. Excellent performances from all around, with Sean Penn once again being the stand-out. Joaquin Phoenix and Claire Danes both turn in memorable performances as crazy young lovers who cross paths with Sean Penn's character.
