Review of U Turn (1997) by Paul D — 04 Mar 2010
I'll preface this by saying I'm NOT an Oliver Stone fan. I like his movies, but in particular, I think Platoon is easily one of the most overrated films of all time. This is probably my new favorite Stone film, though. No annoying political subtext, just a guy having the worst luck in history topped off by one bitch of an ending.
I won't say any more. Just see it. It's positively fucking brilliant.
