Intelligence works. And how!

Ajay Devgan blends the technical details of Alzheimer's disease with all the trappings of a commercial cinema. What we have is a strong plot with a slightly weak screenplay.

Kajol has done a commendable job which would hopefully see her being nominated for the year's best actress. Her finesse is clearly depicted as a rather reluctant patient, who, much to her husband's dismay, is being gripped with Alzheimer's.

Her face expressions make you feel helpless in your seat, as she contently watches a house lizard while her baby is getting drowned in the bath tub.Her mastery of the craft is perhaps clearly seen in the climax, when she pretends to not recognize Ajay, her husband.

The supporting cast is interesting and adds the much needed zing to the movie, which otherwise would have taken a major toll on the audience's mood. However, the comic scenes could have been much better executed and edited.

Ajay is good as the helpless husband.

A refreshing film to start the summers!
