Review of U Me Aur Hum (2008) by Pradyut V — 25 Apr 2008
I did this with Fanaa, and I did it again now - tolerated a bad movie just for Kajol. Take The Notebook, mix a heavy dose of Iris and also 50 First Dates, and you got this sorry thing called U, Me aur Hum.
The first half is just pathetic with thousands of jokes and light moments, none of which works. I hated all of Ajay's friends in the movie, and they were present all the time. Second half gets better, but that too has too much dialogs; at times you feel like putting a sock inside Ajay's mouth to keep him shut or something.
Watch the movie ONLY for Kajol. And the title song is beautiful.
