Review of Tyrannosaur (2011) by James K — 01 Jan 2012
Paddy Considine is an amazing actor, but this time he goes behind the camera to write and direct this bleak character drama. Peter Mullan gives an intense performance as a broken, angry old man who comes to the aid of an abused wife played impressively by Olivia Colman.
This not a happy film and it doesn't end on a hopeful note. But that's what makes 'Tyrannosaur' so undeniably powerful.
