I just watched Patty Considine's directorial debut, Tyrannosaur, at VIFF, and was blown away. Peter Mullan does an amazing job as Joseph - one of the strongest characters I've seen in a long time.
In-your-face, full-on confrontation of domestic violence and abuse that plagues many societies today - but without the unnecessary gore. Sad, but excellent film.
