British cinema at its best an amzing turn by Olivia Coleman as the abused wife and the always excellent Eddie Marsan is immense as the creepy sick fuck of a husband but for me Peter Mullan excels the most as the schizophrenic Joeseph.
Great directorial debut from Paddy Considine.Not for the faint hearted.
