Review of Tyrannosaur (2011) by Ro D — 30 Dec 2011
A master class in kitchen-sink-drama storytelling; Paddy Considine's dà (C)but feature length is blisteringly harrowing but sprinkled with just the right amount of hope along the way. The acting and cinematography are also phenomenal and everything about this film rings (depressingly) true.
It could, however, have fleshed out these characters a little more, or benefited from another central character as at times it feels a little too minimalist.
