Review of Tyrannosaur (2011) by Paul K — 16 Mar 2012
An extraordinary film, recommended to us by Ian Bain. It makes for uncomfortable viewing, and is difficult to deal with without being patronising about our deprived British underclass. It takes places in a world of alcohol, aggression, alienation, - anomie.
However marginalised and scary these characters are, they are credibly portrayed and are ultimately sympathetic.
