Review of Tyrannosaur (2011) by Layla L — 20 Sep 2012

Tyrannosaur is an uneasy film to watch uncompromisingly brutal and tense. It's a film oddly moving with no message or hope only the reality of the world these characters are living in. The real shining light here is masterful performances by Mullan and especially Colman who frankly deserves every acting award going.

This realistic tale of abuse and redemption is not for the faint hearted but is an extraordinary film. 5/5.
