1st of all, ridiculous title for this movie. Should have been titled "a seriously grim movie set up north". It really is not happy viewing akin to many British run down depressed community movies.
I didnt really get the shop. Why have a shop selling clothes on a run down sink estate? It was the only shop open. I still enjoyed it, mainly for the unusual scenes of grimness, with the worst being the sick rape scene that I was treated to roundabout the hour mark.
