Recently, I saw Tyler Perry's "The Family That Preys." While there won't be any oscars given out to the actors, it is a very compelling movie with enough depth to keep you engaged. I was glad to see that a movie could reveal problems that plague our society without glamorizing them.
Bad things happen to good and bad people, but it's the actions you take that make you different. Also, families do have the capacity to break certain destructive cycles unless they are willing to change.
