I have to say, I liked the movie overall. However, I think it was a step down from his previous "Why Did I Get Married." Alfre Woodard and Kathy Bates easily stole the show here, but everyone else seemed to be phoning it in.
The acting was wooden, almost like it was being read from cuecards. It was painfully obvious, and it prevented me from taking the movie more seriously than the soaps I watch on TV.
