Review of Tyler Perry's The Family That Preys (2008) by John G — 17 Jan 2009
This movie was a huge surprise and I find that Tyler's writing is getting better and better. No "story book ending" here and that's what made it more interesting. The sad part is this movie shines a light on the reality that some people will do the unthinkable just to achieve what they consider to be "survival".
Alfre and Kathy get a little "Thelma & Louise" but I thought that was a bit necessary to help the story along.
