Review of Tyler Perry's The Family That Preys (2008) by Percevial M — 16 Feb 2009

I definitely hope this movie wins an award. I was shocked because Tyler showed a different dimension of himself, but he still held true to his roots by bringing many of the ideas and concepts from his stage plays into this film.

I love the fact that he is giving black actors from the past a chance to show themselves strong again. Robin Givens did a phenomenal job and proved that she's still got skills and beauty as well.
