This movie has the best production quality of Perry's works to date, but he's still showing signs of the successful novice. I think with some high-paid actors and some polish, Perry's got potential for more than his disjointed clichés.
In the Madea movies, the sense of abandon from Hollywood crispness endears you to the films. These half-baked attempts at main stream? Not so much. But I finished the movie on the plane back from France; there's enough here to watch it.
