Review of Two Weeks (2006) by Sv G — 08 Feb 2008
Awesome performance by Sally Field who plays a woman dying of cancer who's children all come home to spend her last two weeks with her. Somber storyline BUT, having gone through caring for a dying loved one more than once, I can say this movie comes as close as it really does get.
The tears, the fear, the guilt and anger and feelng separted from the rest of the world, etc, etc..it's all here. The interaction between the siblings is real and believable. There are also some very funny moments and they would not have gotten it right had there not been.
This IS a sad film, however it shows the beauty and the value of our lives.
