Review of Two Weeks (2006) by Aliya Z — 01 Mar 2008
A poignant and heartfelt tale of four siblings watching over their mother in her last days. At times the movie was funny, but there was also an honest realism to it. It shows that different people have different ways of coping.
. I loved Sally Field in this.. This was no glamour job for her.. she is truly a great actress.. Ben Chaplin is wonderful as Keith, confused and brave at the same time.. Julianne Nicholson is great as Emily.
. All the different characters seem to have all their own different trials.. It's a good movie for those who have lost someone, or are losing someone, it reminds us not to be afraid of death, but to embrace it as part of life.
