Another barely watchable gorefest from Herschell Gordon Lewis. The production values are a slight step above his usual abysmal incompetence, but it's still a tough 87 minutes to sit through. There is an element of inventive cruelty to the gore scenes, but the crowds of shrill, shrieking hillbillies are so obnoxious it's not even entertaining as a cheesy bad movie.
