Review of Two Men Went To War (2002) by Kat L — 15 May 2009
Great film for a quiet night in. The film isn't exactly fast-paced, but that's part of its charm. I was a little bit worried about it being a comedy since it was based on real events, and I was afraid it might get a bit too slapstick, but the writers were really sensitive to the characters and made them really believable and lovable.
It's billed as a comedy, but it's deeper than that. There's a lot of emotions involved, and all in all, it's a really good 'feel-good' saturday night film if you want something a bit light and warm.
