(2008) Two Lovers.
DRAMA.
Underrated love triangle type of storyline which can be a mirror image to some but consist about what people know in real life, interwoven into a storyline! A film centering on Joaquin Phoenix's (who lives with his folks) relationship with two girls- one (Gwenyth Paltrow) who he's madly in love with but is too absorbed with herself to be with a relationship with a wealthy married man and a so-so girl of a daughter whose Jewish parents is about to buy off Joaquin's parents dry- cleaning business! Very straight forward but sometimes can be a meandering experience since at times kind of drags but understandable because of actual personifications about what happens to single adults do all the time! Self- absordness is brilliantly explored here!
2.5 out of 4.
