Review of Two Lovers (2008) by Ruba E — 09 Dec 2009

Two Lovers is about a guy who's very depressed in his life because his fiancée broke up with him, later his parents set him up with a girl who loves him very much but he starts loving his new neighbor. so that's where the movie's title came from.

It's a nice movie to watch, with great performances from Joaquin, Gwyneth and Vinessa. I was actually into seeing how the the relationship between each one of them will go. But I wasn't satisfied with how things ended, I mean it seemed like he just settled with the first girl out of sadness so I don't think they'll be happy in the rest of their life.

Unfortunately this is supposed to be Joaquin Phoenix last movie since he's focusing on his music career now (too bad because I actually enjoy his movies).
