Review of Two Lovers (2008) by Kristal C — 13 Jan 2010
Poor Gwyneth didn't have much of a choice: crazy-eyed Joaquin Phoenix or just-plain-crazy Elias Koteas. Otherwise this is an extremely watchable and incredibly sad portait of love that has an almost nostalgic feel to it.
Everyone involved is at the top of their game here and the New York portrayed in the film has almost a Scorsese quality to it.
