Review of Two Lovers (1928) by Yeezus P — 13 Aug 2009
I really avoided this movie mainly due to the terrible trailer. When the reviews and recommendations came in, I was kind of surprised honestly. I thought it was gonna be an average romance story, but it's really not.
Phoenix is at his best here, and if this is really his last performance, well then that's sad. It's sort of a psychological drama about a mentally disturbed and loved obsessed guy, played by Phoenix to perfection.
