Review of Two Lovers (1928) by Steven C — 14 Feb 2010
James Gray's "Two Lovers" is like some long lost late 70's romantic drama. Gray has created such a look and feel of nostalgia and NYC that you simply can't ignore the impact. Joaquin Phoenix, Gwyneth Paltrow and Vinessa Shaw are tremendous under Gray's meticulous directing.
This is a great film.
