Review of Two Lovers (1928) by Iain P — 14 Feb 2010
Quite slow, very predictable tale of a fragile guy who falls for the wrong woman. You can see the ending almost from the get go, and it can't really come soon enough. Only high point is Joaquin Phoenix's performance as the bipolar Leonard - I found him believable, gritty and authentic.
