Random, existential road movie. Benefits from an astounding turn by Warren Oates as a compulsively lying wreck in the midst of a mid-life crisis, who agrees to race the protagonists to the Capitol (a race which goes nowhere).
Intriguing, as the relationships and characterisations are stripped down to the bones, leaving a lot of space for empty roads...
