Review of Two Hands (1999) by Ryan M — 09 Dec 2008
Crackling with energy, this Aussie spin on the gangster genre ticks all the boxes and more. The whole cast is on the top of their game, with Brown playing the role of bastard tough guy as good as he ever has.
The plot never lags, and it's this fast pace that contributes in accentuating the humour that is smeared all throughout the film. The film also benefits from an absolute ripper of a soundtrack, featuring tracks from Powderfinger and Crowded House.
All in all, one sterling Aussie performance!
