Review of Two Hands (1999) by Joshua R — 09 Sep 2010
Two Hands is a great story about a young, innocent man who must take a step into the dark to pay back a missing sum of $10,000 to some ruthless gangsters. Heath Ledger does an amazing job and Bryan Brown also gives a mesmerizing performance as the gang leader Pando.
From the first scene you know this movie is gonna be a cracker and after the last you can justify that claim with joy. A great Australian backdrop for this film and great Aussie actors make you proud to be an Australian.
An interesting film that launched Ledgers courier into the atmosphere- definetly worth a watch. A bit slow and painful at times which is what you'd expect from a small Australian film, but as I previously said, it's definetly worth a watch.
