Review of Two for the Road (1967) by Marchie R — 04 Jun 2008
The first time I saw it, I was amazed at how witty the screenplay was! Hepburn, obviously my favorite, was very endearing in her role as the naive, hopefuL wife while Finney was such a treat playing the uncooperative, sometimes absent husband.
The movie showed what happens in reaL reLationships. I loved the idea that the plot didn't stop when Cinderalla met the Prince. Instead it showed how it wasn't "happiliy ever after", after all.
I just loved the lines and how they delivered it. A must-see for every romantic, optimist and realist! :p.
