Review of Two for the Money (1972) by Mike W — 02 Nov 2007
As an avid gambler (which is putting it lightly), I wanted to see this movie to see how they portrayed the sports betting lifestyle. The movie was interesting, but I didn't find it all that good. The whole movie was pretty easy to predict even before seeing it; guy is able to predict games, gets noticed, makes a bunch of money for the company, & starts losing everything when he hits a dry spell. Pacino and McConaughey do their best, but there wasn't a whole lot to work with.
3/5.
