Review of Two Evil Eyes (1990) by Justin L — 11 May 2011
Romero's take on "The Facts in the Case of Mrs. Valdemar" , felt far too long for a fifty-five minute film. The acting was sub-par, and the plot really was hard to stay interested in. I give it two out of five stars.
"The Black Cat" was the least of my favorite films I've seen so far from Argento, though it had it's usual high and lows. Definitely enjoyed the frenzy and chaos of Harvey Keitel (who can do no wrong in my eyes), but it was far less expressionistic than I had hoped for, coming from Argento's mind. I rated it a three out of five.
