Review of Two Days, One Night (2014) by Robin V — 16 Feb 2015
In the line of the Dardenne brothers filmwork, there are a handful repeated messages. One of them is about "Solidarity". We witness the results of a ruthless competition due to capitalism that has led our societies to a work slavery and cannibalism: "Your death, my survival". The message is clear.
But here is a ray of hope, from the heroine of the film, played wonderfully from M. Cotillard. Fight for the common good with dignity and solidarity.
