Review of Two Days, One Night (2014) by Michael S — 20 Feb 2015
The set-up is simple: factory workers in Belgium are given the choice between a hefty year-end bonus or saving the job of one of their own. The film unfolds as that worker goes door-to-door asking her co-workers to save her job.
This is a quiet, tense, and bracingly real film. Marion Cotillard is outstanding.
